Martin Payero has joined Italian outfit Udinese in a permanent deal.
The Argentine completed his move on transfer deadline day after spending two years on Teesside.
Since joining from Banfield in the summer of 2021 the 24-year-old has started eight games for Boro and has made 16 appearances in total.
Last term he was loaned to Boca Juniors, where he made 24 appearances.
Martin’s final appearance in a Boro shirt came against Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup at the start of the month.
