James Lea Siliki made his second appearance of the Africa Cup of Nations as Cameroon drew with Cape Verde.

Captain Vincent Aboubakar put hosts Cameroon ahead - assisted by ex-Boro man Harold Moukoudi - with what was his fifth goal of the tournament in the first half.

But in the second half, Garry Rodrigues levelled up for Cape Verde.

Boro loanee Lea Siliki was introduced shortly after in place of Pierre Kunde, but the Indomitable Lions had to settle for a draw in Olembe, albeit one that sees them comfortably top Group A.

Five-time AFCON winners Cameroon will now play a third-placed team from another group in a week's time in the knockout stages.
