Anfernee Dijksteel is in line for his international debut after being called up by Suriname for the first time.
Dijksteel, 26, will link up with Natio in the international window later this month for their CONCACAF Nations League match against Mexico in the Surinamese capital of Paramaribo.
The Boro defender, who was born in Amsterdam and has played for the Netherlands at Under-20 level, is of Surinamese descent and has now opted to represented the South American country.
He has made 18 appearances for Boro this season, the most recent from the substitutes' bench in our 2-0 win over Watford at the end of January.
