Boro are ball number one in the Carabao Cup quarter-final draw on Wednesday.
Michael Carrick's side are in the hat for the last eight of the competition for the first time in five years after seeing off Exeter City.
The draw will take place live on Sky Sports following the conclusion of the Round Four tie between Manchester United and Newcastle United.
The ball numbers are as follows:
- Middlesbrough
- Port Vale
- AFC Bournemouth or Liverpool
- Chelsea or Blackburn Rovers
- Everton or Burnley
- Ipswich Town or Fulham
- Manchester United or Newcastle United
- West Ham or Arsenal
Quarter-final ties will take place week commencing Monday 18 December.
