Three of Boro's first team squad were out and about in the community as part of the EFL's Week of Action.
Alex Gilbert and Morgan Rogers joined in afternoon assembly at Archibald Primary in Middlesbrough where they heard from MFC Foundation and Cumbria Waste about their environmental sustainability initiative.
Boro skipper Jonny Howson joined youngsters from MFC Foundation’s Think With Your Feet (Youth) programme in Loftus where he chatted to the youngsters about his career in the game.
Both visits were part of the Foundation’s showcasing of their programmes in the EFL’s Week of Action.
