Tommy Conway became Boro's latest summer signing after joining from Bristol City on a four-year contract.

Here's everything you need to know about our newest recruit...

  • Hailing from Taunton, the 22-year-old forward joins from Bristol City, having joined the club’s academy at the age of seven
  • In 2019, Tommy had his first loan spell at Yate Town before joining Bath City in October 2020, where he would secure four goals in 11 appearances
  • After spending time out on loan, he made his senior debut for Bristol City away to Coventry City in 2021
  • His first goal came later in the same campaign against Millwall
  • Tommy made his mark on the first-team at the start of the 2022/23 season, and he picked up the EFL Young Player of the Month award in August
  • The young forward finished that season with nine goals and three assists in the league
  • The 2023/24 campaign was another impressive season, with his 12 goals across all competitions including a late equaliser in the FA Cup against West Ham United. Tommy also bagged a goal in the replay at Ashton Gate
  • Tommy has represented Scotland’s Under-21s on five occasions, with three goals to his name at that level
  • On 7 June 2024, he made his debut for the senior Scotland national team in a 2-2 draw with Finland
  • The striker also travelled to Germany as part of Steve Clarke's squad for the Euros this summer
  • Tommy has now joined Boro, which will be his second permanent club
