Boro's Under-21s face the rare prospect of a Saturday afternoon fixture this weekend when Nottingham Forest visit Heritage Park.
While the first team will be playing against Coventry City at the Riverside, Mark Tinkler's charges will be hoping to make it three PL2 wins in a row when they take on Forest 19 miles away in Bishop Auckland.
Having found results difficult to come by during the opening weeks of the season, the young Boro side finally got off the mark at Stoke and followed that with a win against Aston Villa last Friday.
Hazeem Bakre bagged a hat-trick in that win and he's been nominated for the PL2 POTM award.
Boro were edged out by Lyon in the opening PL International Cup game in midweek and Marcus Forss and Sol Brynn, who both featured against the French side are expected to be with the seniors tomorrow.
It's a busy run of games for the young side at the moment, and they are back at the Riverside on Wednesday when Borussia Monchengladbach are the visitors.
