We’re pleased to extend an invite to supporters to attend a club crest workshop at the Riverside Stadium next week.
As announced earlier this year, we are exploring plans to change our current crest in line with the club’s upcoming 150th anniversary.
This was followed up by an initial survey distributed in the summer to supporters who are ‘opted in’ to club communications - which offered us important initial feedback and feelings from the fanbase towards the project.
The next stage of the process is this workshop event which will take place in the Legends Lounge of the Riverside Stadium on Wednesday 4 December. Starting at 6pm, it will last approximately 90 minutes.
As well as delving into the history of the Boro crest, the event will be another chance for supporters to have their say. We’re looking forward to getting our fans engaged in the process, and talking about what the club and crest means to them.
Tickets for the event are free, and can be reserved on a first-come, first-served online at tickets.mfc.co.uk from 12 noon on Tuesday 26 November. A maximum of 100 tickets will be available, with no more than four per booking. A hot buffet and refreshments will be provided.
