Gilbert came on as a substitute for the last three minutes of a 2-0 win against Stevenage that fired the Addicks into the top six.

Sam Silvera came on for the final 20 minutes of Blackpool's 1-1 draw at Burton. Silvera played a crucial role in setting up Blackpool's 93rd-minute equaliser. Former Boro man Rumarn Burrell was the Burton goalscorer.

Also in League One, Micah Hamilton was an unused substitute for Stockport in their 2-1 win against Barnsley.

North of the border, Jack Hannah missed Queen of the South's 2-1 defeat at Stenhousemuir after picking up an ankle injury the previous weekend.

And in the National League North, Hazeem Bakre impressed when he stepped off the bench for Darlington in their 3-1 win against Marine.
