Bio
Hailing from Manchester, Micah was born in November 2003.
He joined the Academy of Manchester City aged nine and progressed through the ranks there.
Micah received touchline advice from legendary City manager Pep Guardiola while serving as a ballboy in 2017, with the moment caught by the cameras.
The forward had a standout season in City’s Under-18 Premier League North title win in 2021/22, scoring 11 goals and contributing eight assists in 22 appearances,
After making appearances for the U18s and U21s in 2021/22 and 2022/23, he was promoted to the U21 team for the 2023/24 season.
That campaign saw Micah notch two goals and register six assists, while he also featured six times in the EFL Trophy.
He was included in the first-team squad by Guardiola for the first time in September 2023 for a League Cup tie against Newcastle United.
It got better for the youngster when he made his professional debut in the Champions League away at Red Star Belgrade last December. He scored in the 19th minute to help City to a 3-2 win.
He also traveled with the squad to Saudi Arabia that month as City competed in – and won – the FIFA Club World Cup.
Micah has been involved with England at youth level, representing his country at U16 and U20 levels, including appearances against Poland and Czech Republic for the latter.
He made a permanent move to Boro in the summer of 2024 and spent part of his first season on loan with Stockport County in League One.
