Sarah started football at 3 years old before going onto grassroots teams playing in boys' teams Red House Rarm and Throckley Magpies.

Sarah's ability led her to be a part of the Centre of Excellence for Newcastle until she was 16, the equivalent of a girl's academy.

Sarah Left football at 16 before picking it back up a year later, in the lower leagues.

Sarah re-joined her hometown club, Newcastle before being scouted to play professionally abroad in Finland for a year. 

After her stint in Finland, Sarah returned to England with Chester Le Street and Durham for 4 seasons each before joining Middlesbrough.  

During her time in England Sarah Burn has racked up an impressive 130 appearances.
