Boro have been hard at work in the sun after their pre-season trip got underway.

Rob Edwards and his squad touched down in Portugal on Sunday evening ahead of a week-long training camp in the Algarve.

The 27-man squad started the week with some fitness work on their first morning in the Portuguese heat.

Boro will remain in the country until Sunday, with the camp to finish with a behind-closed-doors training game against local opposition.
