Frankie Coulson struck a hat-trick as Boro's Under-18s ended their league campaign with a 6-3 win over Leeds United.
The result ensured the Teessiders ended their U18 Premier League season in 10th place after capitalising on a fast start at Rockliffe.
Eric Hamelberg fired in the opener after just six minutes before providing the assist for Coulson's first before the quarter-hour mark.
Coulson headed in Boro's third to make the advantage an even more handsome one, but Leeds pulled one back through Will Firth on the stroke of half-time.
Less than five minutes into the second half, Boro's three-goal lead was restored by Leon Parker, and a number of chances to extend it further came and went.
Leeds' second was scored by Logan White and when he netted again with 16 minutes remaining, it was set up to be an entertaining end to the season.
Boro nerves were eased in the closing stages when Cruz Ibeh made it 5-3, setting the stage for Coulson to round things off with his hat-trick goal a minute from the end.
