Answers to frequently asked questions ahead of online ticket sales for Boro’s Emirates FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea…
Tickets for the match are on sale this week in a series of priority windows, starting with Season Card holders from 3pm on Tuesday 8 March (online/telephone only, counter sales from 10am on Wednesday 9 March).
Prices and dates for the windows can be found here.
I am a Season Card holder, how do I access my reserved seat?
Log in to your online ticketing account at tickets.mfc.co.uk*.
From the main menu, select ’Tickets’ followed by ‘Reserved Cup Tickets’. Your Season Card seat is reserved here.
Alternatively, you will be sent a reserved ticket notification in the ‘Alerts’ section of your profile page, which can be accessed by selecting ‘Hello [Name]’ in the top right corner when you log in at tickets.mfc.co.uk.
Season Card Holders will have until 3pm on Saturday 12 March to be guaranteed their usual seat. After this deadline, all unsold seats will be released for sale.
*In order to purchase tickets, your online account must be correctly linked to your Season Card. There are steps to do this here.
Can I move seats if I’m a Season Card holder?
Yes, there is no requirement to purchase your regular seat if you are a Season Card holder.
What if I have a Half Season Card?
Half Season Card holders can purchase tickets from the same time as full Season Card holders.
How many tickets can I purchase, and how do I assign them?
Supporters who are eligible in each priority window can purchase their own ticket plus one additional ticket.
For example, from 3pm on Tuesday a Season Card holder will be able to purchase a ticket for themselves plus one other supporter. Online only until 10am on Wednesday when the counters will be open. If you have three Season Card holders linked to your ticketing account, you will be able to purchase tickets for those three Season Card holders plus three extra.
The same process applies when tickets go on sale to supporters with 11+ Priority Points, and 2+ Priority Points later in the week.
There is a maximum of six tickets per transaction.
Please note that if you are purchasing an additional ticket, it must be assigned into the name of the supporter with the correct priority privileges (rather than necessarily the supporter who the ticket is being purchased for). So in the example above, if a Season Card holder buys two tickets, both must be assigned in their name.
This is because the supporter purchasing the tickets must have the correct privileges. It also means that if you buy a ticket for a supporter outside of their own priority window, they will not be allocated any Priority Points.
What if my Season Card is in the Generation Red Family Zone?
Season Card holders with seats in the GRFZ can purchase their own tickets plus additional tickets as outlined above.
However, the additional tickets purchased must be in line with the maximum ratio permitted in this area, which is no more than TWO Adults/Over-65s to ONE Under-18 and a maximum of FOUR Under-18s to ONE Adult/Over-65.
As above, each additional ticket purchase must be assigned in the name of the Season Card holder (as well as their own ticket).
What delivery methods can I choose?
Season Card holders can opt to have their ticket loaded onto their Season Card, meaning they can use their Season Card for access to the stadium as with a home league fixture.
This is under 'Ticket Collection' as displayed below.
Otherwise, supporters can select ‘Print At Home’ or ‘Delivery’.
If a Season Card holder is purchasing additional tickets, the delivery method for those tickets must be selected before they can chose 'Load on Card' for their own.
Where can I find how many Priority Points I have?
Log in to your online ticketing account at tickets.mfc.co.uk.
Your Priority Points total is displayed at the bottom right of the page.
Is there a booking fee?
Yes, there is a £1 booking fee per ticket purchased, with the exception of Season Card holders buying their own ticket who opt to have it loaded onto their existing card.
