Flo Balogun struck twice for England Under-21s in the UEFA Under-21 EURO qualifying win against Albania.

Balogun scored two in the second half as England won 3-1, taking his international tally to four in three senior starts for the Young Lions.

The on-loan striker had scored the opening goal against Andorra at the weekend and he will return to Boro with three international goals under his belt this week.

Nathan Wood again captained a winning England team, and he played the full 90 minutes as the U20s beat Germany 3-1 at Colchester. Goals came from Sam Greenwood, James McAtee and Tyrhys Dolan.

At senior level, Paddy McNair played the full game for Northern Ireland as they went down 1-0 to Hungary while Andraz Sporar was an unused substitute for Slovenia in their 0-0 draw with Qatar.
