Goalkeeper Oliver Swan is the latest Boro youngster to sign his first professional contract.

The 19-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the option of a further year.

A Middlesbrough lad, Swan started out at Marton Juniors before joining our Academy as an eight-year-old.

He has risen through the age groups and, as a third-year scholar, he broke into the Under-23s team last season, making seven appearances.

Oli follows in the footsteps of Frankie Whelan, Afonso Lindo, Sam Collins, and Ben Beals who all signed their first professional contracts last month.
