Supporters are warned of an online scam being carried out by a fraudulent company purporting to be related to club charitable arm MFC Foundation.
It has been brought to our attention that a number of customers have been defrauded having made purchases from website www.myspeciallmoments.com, often after following an advertisement on social media.
The items on sale are not typically related to Middlesbrough FC, but the website does list the Riverside Stadium as the company's address and also includes the MFC Foundation telephone number as a point of contact - but this information is false.
We are warning any and all online shoppers to avoid using this website. If you believe you are a victim of fraud from this website, we advise contacting the Police or visiting the www.actionfraud.police.uk website.
