Club partner Stockton Machine Company provided an early festive surprise for youngsters at Billingham Town this week.
Young midfielder Hayden Hackney was the unannounced special guest when Billingham Town Under-11s got together for a pre-Christmas meeting.
The youngsters, who are members of the Teesside Junior Football Alliance, are unbeaten so far this season and the surprise appearance was organised by sponsor Mark Smith, whose business Stockton Machine Company are associate partners of the Boro.
Hayden signed autographs, posed for photos, and played FIFA against the youngsters at Billingham.
Hayden, whose career started with Redcar Town, also took part in a Q&A where he gave the U11s important advice about "training as you play."
