Boro duo Dael Fry and Anfernee Dijksteel helped officially open a landmark new site for Associate Partner LV Logistics.

LV recently launched the new facility, the Able Middlesbrough Port, across the Tees from Boro’s Riverside Stadium, extending the company’s well-established 36-year footprint on Teesside.

Boro’s defensive pair were fitting attendees, with Dael Fry Teesside born and bred and Anfernee Dijksteel hailing from the Netherlands, where LV are headquartered.

The opening of the Able Middlesbrough Port and the large investment involved is part of an ongoing commitment to the region from LV, who provide logistical services to a range of industries including energy, construction, automotive and retail.

LV Logistics are also committed to their excellent and close working relationship with MFC, which has seen a long-standing Associate Partnership. Their branding is seen around the Riverside on match days, from LED boards to the Big Screen, while they also entertain staff and clients in an Executive Box.

Garry Burnip, Middlesbrough Branch Manager at LV Logistics said: “Our investment in Able Middlesbrough Port sends out a message of intent for the future of LV Logistics in the North East, as we look to build on the growth and success we have achieved. We are delighted to see this iconic facility back in action.

“To again renew our Associate Partnership for a sixth consecutive season with MFC was a no-brainer. We use MFC’s advertising and matchday hospitality as platform to drive LV forward and we’re looking forward to building on the incredibly strong relationship and understanding we have.”
