Boro raced into an unassailable three-goal lead to become the first team to win at Wolves in the Premier League this season.

Ash McCarthy opened the scoring with a long-range effort which took a deflection to wrongfoot the Wolves keeper.

AJ Bridge was denied a second for Boro, but it was 2-0 moments later when Rio Patterson-Powell converted after good work by Law McCabe.

The home side made three changes at the break, but Boro were 3-0 up before the hour-mark when Oliver Samuels headed home from a corner.

Wolves did pull a couple back, but Boro held firm to pick up an impressive victory.
