Rainbow Laces

Boro are celebrating Stonewall UK’s Rainbow Laces campaign against Huddersfield Town.

We are asking supporters to "Lace Up and Speak Up" for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer - LGBTQ+ - inclusion in football with the symbolic rainbow proudly on display around the Riverside Stadium.

Captain Jonny Howson will be donning a rainbow armband, alongside a change in corner flag colours with a firm message on the Riverside big screen promoting inclusion for all members of the MFC family, regardless of sexuality.

Safer Gambling

Boro will wear a kit with unique, sustainable gambling branding for our match against the Terriers as part of this year’s Safer Gambling Week.

As part of its evolving relationship with principal club partner Kindred Group, Middlesbrough will replace its regular Unibet shirt logo with bespoke, ‘Zero % Mission’ branding.

Boro will wear kits with safer gambling branding during games against Wigan Athletic and Huddersfield Town.

Safer Gambling Week is a cross-industry initiative to promote safer gambling in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and raise public awareness of gambling safeguards and best practices. It runs from October 17- 23.
