Boro U18s maintained their 100 per cent home record in the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Leeds United.

Law McCabe’s wonder goal and a late strike from Charlie Lennon sealed another three points for Lee Cattermole’s side.

McCabe opened the scoring by firing a sensational shot into the top left corner following good work from Max Howells in the right channel.

The visitors almost replied at the other end through Connor Douglas but Cameron Simpson denied the Leeds forward from point-blank range.

Leeds did manage to beat Simpson in the second period when Marley Wilson arrived late at the back post.

But Boro’s impressive home record was not to be ended by the stubborn visitors, as Lennon found the net from inside the six-yard box.
