The Riverside Stadium will open its doors to international sport on Sunday as Tonga take on the Cook Islands in the Rugby League World Cup (kick-off 2.30pm).
The tournament, rescheduled from 2021, pits 16 of the world's best Rugby League sides against each other at venues across England.
Cook Islands, who are based at Rockliffe Hall for the competition, are tasked with causing an upset against highly-rated Tonga, and may well need to beat their South Pacific neighbours if they are to progress from Group D.
Tonga top the group, while Papua New Guinea - who are level on points with the Cook Islands - face Wales tomorrow.
Tickets are available to purchase on the day from the Riverside's main ticket office.
