Boro's opponents for the second round of the Carabao Cup will be revealed on Wednesday evening.

Michael Carrick's side are in the hat for round two after beating Neil Warnock's Huddersfield Town 3-2. 

The draw will take place after the conclusion of Burton Albion v Leicester City, live on Sky Sports at around 10.15pm.

The second round sees the 12 Premier League sides not competing in European competition join the 36 EFL sides to have progressed from the first round. The draw remains regionalised at this stage, divided into northern and southern pots.

Round two ties are set to be played week commencing 28 August.
