As fans are aware, the club launched phase one of our digital ticketing rollout last weekend, and we’d like to clarify a minor issue which has come to light.

With the introduction of digital ticketing, supporters are now able to ‘forward’ their Season Card to a friend or family member, should they be unable to attend a match themselves.

In a minority of instances, owing to an error with the ticketing system, supporters attempting to forward a digital Season Card have been asked to pay an additional cost to do so. We’re in the process of resolving this issue, and forwarding of tickets has been temporarily suspended until it is fixed.

When forwarding a ticket, a price increase is only incurred for a change in price type, for example, a child’s Season Card forwarded to an adult*.

Any additional costs which have been already taken in error are in the process of being refunded by the Ticket Office, and the handful of individuals concerned are being contacted directly.

*Supporters based in the Generation Red Family Zone who wish to forward a ticket should contact the Ticket Office.
