The Academy is at the heart of Middlesbrough Football Club and has a great reputation for producing excellence and contributing to the first team squad.
In the 2022/23 season 17% of all match minutes played were by an Academy product while this season has already seen Fin Cartwright become the club's second youngest ever player after he made his first team debut at Huddersfield in midweek.
The Next Gen Patronship will help towards the Academy age groups on international tours to gain further football and life experiences and aid their development to become the future stars of MFC.
