The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal have thanked Boro fans for their support once again.

The Poppy shirts worn by the team against Leicester City in our Remembrance Weekend game have been auctioned off to raise funds for the RBL.

The auction raised a total of £8,503 with match-winner Sam Greenwood having the most wanted shirt at £697.

A spokesman said: "Thanks again for your ongoing support throughout this year’s Poppy Appeal. We’re delighted to say we’re on track for another successful campaign."
