Liam Roberts made his return to action with Barnsley at the weekend.

The goalkeeper has been sidelined with a broken finger since early October, but he returned to Oakwell to take his place in the starting line-up for Saturday's 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic.

Fellow League One loan man, goalkeeper Sol Brynn, played his part as Leyton Orient won 2-1 at Cheltenham, while in Scotland, Zach Hemming kept a clean sheet as St Mirren drew 0-0 with Motherwell.

In League Two, Jeremy Sivi made a five-minute cameo as Harrogate Town beat Notts County.

Teenage keeper Nathan Fisher was a winner with Newton Aycliffe as they triumphed 4-2 at Ashington in NPL East, but there was no joy in the division above for Ben Beals and George Gitau as Marske United were beaten 3-1 by Ilkeston Town.
