Fans from The Twe12th Man are donning their walking boots to support the Michael Carrick Foundation.
The group will be walking from the Riverside to Rockliffe and back ahead of our game against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday week.
The Just Giving page reads: "Danny, Rob and others are wanting to show support to our manager's foundation. We will be setting off early hours of the morning to complete the 18-mile walk to Rockliffe. There we will turn round and head the 18-mile walk back to the stadium hopefully in time for kick off against QPR. We will try keep people informed of where we are on the route and if they would like to join us that would be great."
The Michael Carrick Foundation recently launched the Teesside Boot Room in partnership with MFC Foundation, and the charity helps youngsters across the north west and north east.
To complete 36 miles would be some achievment and we're urging fans to back our intrepid walkers and show their support.
