Matthew Hoppe played the full 90 minutes for the United States in their goalless draw with Colombia over the weekend.

Taking place in his home state of California, it was the striker's eighth cap, and his first start for the USMNT since winning the Gold Cup with his country almost two years ago.

The US came closest to breaking the deadlock when Paxten Aaronson hit the post, while Hoppe had one opportunity in behind where he forced a save from Alvaro Montero.

The friendly fixture brings a close to the US' January camp, which is typically an opportunity for younger, emerging players on the international scene.
