Boro have secured the services of Australian goalkeeper Tom Glover.

The 25-year-old joins Boro on a three-year deal after leaving A-League side Melbourne City on the back of three successive Premiership titles.

Tom is a product of the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, and played a supporting role in their senior side before moving back home to join Melbourne.

There he missed only a handful of games as the Aussie side won league medals back-to-back-to-back, earning his first call-up for the Australian national side.

Tom was a familiar opponent for fellow arrival Sam Silvera, whose Central Coast Mariners side he faced in last season’s A-League Grand Final, while he was part of the same Olyroos team as Riley McGree at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

He adds further competition to Boro’s goalkeeping ranks alongside Liam Roberts and Sol Brynn.
