Youngsters Rose McCarthy and Ella Baker join Middlesbrough from the Teesside RTC, where they have both impressed Mick Mulhern.
The Boro head coach described Rose as a "young player with huge potential."
"She takes real pride in her defending," he saod. "I have no doubt she'll develop into a very good footballer at Middlesbrough."
He followed up by speaking about Ella Baker, where he said "Ella is a real talent. I saw her on a couple of occasions last season.
"I'm delighted she has agreed to come to Boro in spite of interest from clubs higher up in the leagues."
