Sign up for our first Memory Walk, a chance to put your best foot forward and remember loved ones along the way.

We've teamed up with MFC Foundation to host the Memory Walk, which starts and finishes at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday 23 July.

And we're inviting you to take part, in memory of those family and friends that are sadly no longer with us.

By registering, walkers make a £20 donation to MFC Foundation, with all proceeds going to their dedicated dementia project which helps to support those living with dementia and related conditions across the Teesside.

Each entrant will receive a Memory Walk t-shirt, a memory ribbon and card to be personalised and placed on the Ayresome Park gates outside the Riverside, and a medal on completion.

Participants are also welcome to further fundraise for the Foundation or another charity of their choice.

The walk commences at 10am and is just over 2 miles long; from the Riverside and along the banks of the Tees past the iconic Transporter Bridge, looping back by the Hudson Quay and around the stadium pitch itself to the finish line.

The route is on paved paths and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance, while dogs on a lead are also welcome.

There is limited event parking at Riverside Stadium, so we encourage car sharing or the use of public transport where possible.

For more information or to sign up now, please visit the MFC Foundation website. There will also be the opportunity to sign up on the day, but we advise doing so in advance to guarantee your spot.
