This year's Ali Brownlee 5k and 2k runs will finish around the Riverside pitch.

The events, which were named after 'Voice of the Boro' Ali following his passing in 2016, are taking place on the evening of Friday 30 June.

Organised by not-for-profit organisation Jane Tomlinson's Run For All, it is a long-standing and ever-popular date in the calendar for runners of all abilities.

Runners from 11 years and older can register for the 5k run, which starts at 6.45pm outside the Riverside and follows the River Tees before looping around the Hudson Quay and crossing the finish line adjacent to the stadium's pitch. The shorter, family-friendly 2k starts at 6pm, and also includes a Riverside finish.
