In addition to the Sky Bet Championship fixture schedule, next week's Fixture Release Day will also include the first-round draw for the Carabao Cup.

After our 46 league fixtures are revealed at 9am on Thursday 22 June, we will discover our opponents for the cup competition in the Round One draw, which takes place live on Sky Sports at 2.30pm.

All 72 EFL clubs, including newly promoted Notts County and Wrexham, are in the draw. The 12 Premier League Clubs not competing in Europe join in Round Two, and the remaining eight top-flight teams in Round Three.

The Round One draw will see teams drawn in northern and southern sections, with matches scheduled to take place week commencing 7 August, between the first two rounds of league fixtures.

Boro lifted the famous trophy in 2004, and in the 19 years since have twice fallen at the quarter-final stage, most recently in the 2018/19 season.
