Boro will kick off the 2023/24 season at the Riverside with a visit from Millwall.

The release of the new season's fixtures confirms a home start on the weekend of 5 August with a trip to Coventry City the following weekend.

Neil Warnock will return to the Riverside on 19 August with Huddersfield Town and we also have QPR at home before the first international break.

October sees the trip to Sunderland, and following the second international break of the season, we face trips to Norwich, on a Tuesday, and Plymouth Argyle.

Leeds United are back on the agenda the first weekend in December, at Elland Road, while Swansea City away is also pencilled in before Christmas.

Boxing Day sees a rare away trip - Rotherham United - while New Year's Day will see Coventry City at the Riverside.

The first Championship away game of 2024 is at Millwall and Sunderland will visit the Riverside the first weekend in February.

Southampton away is on Good Friday and we follow that with a visit from Sheffield Wednesday on Easter Monday.

The final run-in sees a trip to Ipswich as our penultimate away game of the season before Leeds come to the Riverside for our penultimate home game.

The last away game is at Cardiff City before the season is wrapped up with a visit from Watford on the weekend of 4 May.
