Chuba Akpom's first goal against Blackpool is in contention for Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month for February.

The first of a brace that day, Akpom's opener against the Tangerines was a fine individual effort, a curling strike which was also voted by Boro fans as their Goal of the Month.

He later doubled his tally, a team goal which started from goalkeeper Zack Steffen and included a string of crisp passes before Riley McGree slipped the ball through the legs of a defender allowing Akpom to finish.

Ilias Chair's clever consolation effort for Queens Park Rangers against Boro is another among the nominees, as are goals from Perry Ng for Cardiff City and Marcelino Nunez for Norwich City.
