Our round-up as the season draws to a close for many of Boro's loan men...

Sol Brynn was voted Swindon Town's Player of the Season, marking the end of a fine loan spell for the young goalkeeper.

Brynn was an ever-present between the posts in the league campaign for the Robins, who signed off for the season in tenth place after a 2-1 win over Crawley Town on Monday.

The 22-year-old was Swindon's Player of the Month three times over the year, and picked up a string of Man of the Match accolades.

Jack Robinson helped Carlisle United secure a point that books their League Two play-off place. In his seventh appearance for the Cumbrians, a 1-1 draw at Sutton United secured fifth spot and a semi-final match-up against Bradford City.

Josh Coburn's campaign with Bristol Rovers came to an end with their 3-2 defeat to play-off contenders Bolton Wanderers.

Coburn came close to what would have been his 11th goal of the season in 41 appearances when he rattled the bar in the closing stages of the first half. The striker collided with a post in the process and did not reappear for the second period.

Joe Lumley's Reading were relegated from the Sky Bet Championship last week, and the final day offered no reprieve as his former Boro boss Neil Warnock led Huddersfield Town - the side who Reading could have caught before Town's midweek victory over Sheffield United - to a 2-0 win over the Royals in the campaign's curtain call. Lumley made a total of 42 appearances for the Berkshire club, who had also been docked six points for a breach of the EFL's profitability and sustainability rules.

Grant Hall's Rotherham United were one of the teams that did secure survival, guaranteed after their 1-0 win over Boro a week ago, though the defender has been ruled out through injury since February. He made a total of 21 appearances.

Calum Kavanagh marked the final match of his loan stint with Newport County with an assist in a 2-2 draw with Crewe Alexandra. The forward was a 55th-minute substitute, and had a hand in what appeared to be a stoppage-time winner for Omar Bogle, only for Crewe to level things up almost immediately from the restart. Kavanagh scored two goals in eight starts and 10 substitute appearances.

Kamil Conteh has one last match to look forward to, with Gateshead set to face Halifax Town in the final of the FA Trophy at Wembley on 21 May.

Up in Scotland, the season continues with the second phase starting over the weekend.

Matthew Hoppe was a late substitute for Hibernian as they picked up a 2-1 win over St Mirren, while Hayden Coulson featured as Aberdeen were edged out 1-0 by Rangers. Zach Hemming was on the bench for Kilmarnock's 2-0 defeat at Motherwell.

In Argentina, Martin Payero is serving a suspension, and missed out on another bad-tempered game which saw Boca Juniors and River Plate each receive red cards, River winning the contest 1-0 thanks to a late penalty.
