MFC are once again reminding supporters of our zero-tolerance policy in regard to pyrotechnics.

One fan was arrested at the stadium during Saturday’s game and will face court proceedings after a pyrotechnic was thrown from the Stoke section of the ground.

We are also investigating a further pyrotechnic incident in the South Stand at the Stoke game.

There is no place for pyrotechnics, including flares, smoke bombs and fireworks, in our stadium.

Anyone found in possession or using these devices faces an automatic three-year ban and will be reported to the police.

A spokesman said: "A number of injuries can come from these incidents, including burns and breathing problems, alongside damage to hands, hearing, lungs and eyes. As a major fire hazard, pyros can also cause damage to grounds and surroundings.

"It is illegal to bring them into a football stadium and there are consequences for anybody who breaks the law and ground regulations.

“Anyone caught possessing or using pyrotechnics will be reported to the police and prosecution could result in a permanent criminal record.”

We are once again asking for your help in supporting us by reminding fellow supporters of the dangers and consequences of using pyrotechnics in stadiums.
