Law McCabe is the England Under-18 squad to contest the Tournoi International in Limoges this month, with three games scheduled in France.

An attacking midfielder, Boro-born Law has been with the Academy since the age of nine. The 17-year-old is a regular for our U18s, has featured for our U21s, and he also travelled with the senior squad to Luton Town last season.

The Young Lions will play the host nation, Japan and Portugal in the tournament, with all games taking place at the Stade de Beaublanc in Limoges.

And the head coach has selected a 23-strong squad for the trip, which begins with the game against France on Wednesday 6 September (6pm).

After that, they face Japan on Friday 8 September (2pm) before their games are rounded off on Sunday 10 September when they play Portugal (2pm).

The Young Lions will be using the games this month as final preparations for the FIFA U17 World Cup which takes place in Indonesia in November and December, with the draw for that competition scheduled to take place on Friday 15 September.

Many of the U18s squad were part of last term’s U17s, who secured qualification for the World Cup thanks to their performances in the UEFA U17 EURO in May.
