Sharing all the details on Boro Women's newest signing, Sharna Wilkinson.
Born upon South Shields in 2002, Sharna Started off her career, in boy's football at the grassroots level, until U9s where she would earn a spot in Sunderland RTC.
Alongside the RTC Sharna would captain Durham County from U14s to U16s before leaving Sunderland's Regional Talent Centre at 17.
With leadership qualities aplenty Sharna would later go on to her second captaincy at the English Schools Football Association for the 2017/18 season.
Shrana's playing time at the Football Association would continue throughout her time in education, playing for both the English Colleges Football Association and the English Universities Football Association
Her senior career would begin at Newcastle United Women in 2020, where she was part of a squad that would earn two promotions and notably score the winning goal in Newcastle's 2-1 win over Barnsley Women's FA Cup second-round, in front of a record-breaking crowd.
