We are expecting a crowd of over 26,000 for our Sky Bet Championship opener against Swansea City at the Riverside.

Ticket Office Opening Hours

  • Main Ticket Office: 9am – kick-off (12.30pm)
  • North Stand Ticket Office (Collections): 10.30am – kick off
  • Other ticket offices around the ground: 11am - kick-off

Fans are urged to arrive early to the game to avoid queues and congestion at the turnstiles. 

  • Fans must ensure their ticket is for the correct age category
  • All fans under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult, both inside and outside of the stadium

Digital Ticketing

Digital Ticketing is in operation for tomorrow's match for both Season Ticket and match-by-match ticket holders. 

Fans using Digital Ticketing are reminded they must download their tickets to the 'Wallet' of their mobile phone or other digital device. 

At the turnstiles, Season Tickets and all digital tickets are tapped on the reader, while physical tickets with a barcode are inserted into the mouth of the reader. 

Continuing Season Ticket holders are advised that their digital ticket may have moved to the 'Expired Passes' section of their Wallet, and if so they should select it and press 'Unhide'.

Wear Red To The Riverside

Boro fans are being urged to show their colours at Saturday's game.

It’s a recent opening-day tradition led by supporter group Red Faction, who also have their own plans for a pre-match display and are asking fans to take to their seats in plenty of time to add to the build-up.

Programme

Our #UTB matchday programme is priced at £4 and available to purchase around the stadium in cash or contactless and in the club shop.

FanZone

Our FanZone is open from 10.30am, with Gary Philipson from BBC Tees to compere. 

There will be a variety of drinks and snacks available from the FanZone Bar. 

Neil Maddison will give his thoughts on the game at 11.35am.

We have our Home and Away Quiz, celebration shoutouts and giveaways.

The FanZone is open after the final whistle.

GRFZ

The Generation Red Family Zone opens at 11am, featuring:

  • Creative Corner – World Lion Day is Saturday 10 August and we have a competition to win a hamper of Roary goodies. Due to the recent hot weather, we will make water sponges to help families cool down in the sun. Help us make them and take them home.
  • Everyone Active – Bee Active and his friends from Everyone Active are back this season with a spin the wheel activity, where you can win some fantastic prizes.
  • Table football – See if you can beat our Happy To Help staff who are ready for kick off!
  • Cornerstone Interactive Zone – In association with Cornerstone, our Gaming Zone in the GRFZ is open from 11am and closes 30 minutes before the final whistle.
  • External gaming zone – We have all of the latest consoles for supporters of all ages to enjoy. The External Gaming Zone is open from 10.30am and closes at 12noon.
  • Guessing games – Our guess the attendance and guess the time of the first goal competitions are back this season, with prizes to be won.
  • Dressing-up Corner – Pop down to our dressing-up corner and transform into some of your favourite characters.
  • GRFZ Flag Waving – Our popular pitchside flag waving will be taking place just before kick-off. If you would like to be involved in our pitchside flag waving in the GRFZ, please send an email to supporters@mfc.co.uk with the names of child(ren) and preferred game.
  • Honesty Flags – We have new honesty flags for this season. If you take one, remember to hand them back to us at the end of the game so they can be waved throughout the season.

Twe12th Man Bar

The Twe12th Man Bar is open after the final whistle in the North Stand. Giveaways, celebrations, music, food and drink are available, and you can chat with your friends and fellow supporters about the season.
