Brazilian left-back Neto Borges has become the club's latest summer signing.
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year-contract after a deal was agreed with French side Clermont.
Borges has plenty of experience in Europe. Hammarby received a club record fee when he moved to Belgian outfit Genk after helping the Swedish side to fourth in the league.
He joined Clermont in 2022 and made almost 100 appearances for the club.
Borges is Boro’s sixth signing of the summer window and head coach Michael Carrick was delighted.
“We’re really pleased to bring Neto in,” he said. “He’s got good experience, he’s a good character, and he’s a very good addition to our squad.”
