Centre-back George Edmundson has become the club’s latest summer signing.

The 27-year-old has joined on a season long loan after a deal was agreed with Ipswich Town.

The Manchester born defender began his career at Oldham Athletic where he would make his first senior debut in 2015. After several loan spells, George made the permanent move to Rangers in 2019.

After spending two seasons at the club George signed for Ipswich Town in 2021.

George played a key role in Ipswich’s return to the Championship as well as featuring 10 times in their promotion season back to the Premier League.
