Ben Doak joins Boro on a season long loan from Liverpool.
- The 18-year-old started his career at Ayr United where he played at youth level before making the move to Celtic.
- In 2022, Ben made his debut in the Scottish Premiership in a 1-0 win against Dundee United.
- After making his debut for Celtic the youngster joined Liverpool in March 2022.
- In November 2022, Ben made his Liverpool debut he came on as substitute in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
- Ben made his league debut for Liverpool in December 2022 in a 3-1 win at Aston Villa. He became the youngest Scottish player to appear in the Premier League.
- Ben has represented the Scottish national team from U16s to U21 level.
- Ahead of the UEFA Euro Championship’ in the summer, Ben was in the provisional squad but had to withdraw due to injury (and was replaced by new Boro teammate Tommy Conway) but has been called up for the most recent international fixtures.
- He will wear the number 50 shirt at Boro.
