Boro Under-21s are in action for the final time this year when they take on Benfica in the PL International Cup at the Riverside this week.
Mark Tinkler’s side currently sit in fifth position in Group B. In their last outing in the competition, they picked up three points against Borussia Monchengladbach with a stunning comeback from 2-0 down to win 3-2.
Our young charges were also in fine form in their last league game. They beat Norwich City 3-1, thanks to goals from Law McCabe, Daniel Nkrumah, and Ajay Matthews.
Tinkler's side will be looking to end the calendar year with back-to-back wins when they take on Benfica at the Riverside on Wednesday 18 December.
Season Ticket holders can take advantage of free entry for the International Cup fixture. Otherwise, it is £3 for adults with car parking priced at £2. Under-18s are admitted free.
