Morgan Rogers has joined Aston Villa in a permanent move.

The 21-year-old joins the Premier League side for an undisclosed fee.

Morgan has been with the club just six months since joining from Manchester City.

He linked up with Michael Carrick’s squad during the pre-season training camp in Portugal, and made 33 appearances, scoring seven goals.

Five of those strikes came in the Carabao Cup – he is the leading scorer in this season’s competition – and the most recent in the semi-final second leg at Chelsea last week.

The former West Brom Academy graduate departs with the best wishes of all at MFC.
