Michael Mulhern shared his thoughts on Boro Women's third straight win.
His side came from behind to move joint top of the table, with goals from Lauren Robson, Nichole Havery and Jess Mett.
"It was enjoyable, the old cliché a game of two halves," he said.
"We wanted to go against the wind in the first half because we knew the conditions would get worse.
"We wanted to control it early on but we conceded in the first fifteen minutes.
"The goal was a set piece but we haven't defended it well which I was disappointed with.
"But that was the only negative in the game, we created a fair amount and they only had one shot on goal from open play."
Mulhern was pleased with the response his side showed to come from behind.
"At half-time I was happy I just wanted to make sure we didn't rush anything," he said.
"We got the three goals in the second half and we could've had a couple more.
"We knew we could control the second half because of the conditions, we had the wind.
"But it was important we didn't waste the ball. We were prepared to be patient, if the first goal didn't come quick then so be it.
"We just had to trust the process and be patient, I knew we were always going to win.
"The girls made it look easy, we've worked so hard all week on Stockport and on what they do and how to combat it, and the girls didn't struggle."
The Boro Women boss was full of praise for striker Nichole Havery, who was on the scoresheet with a fine effort.
"It was good to see Nic get her goal," he said.
"She does an awful lot of work, often with her back to goal, she works hard for the team.
"She could've had a hattrick! She's a really dangerous player and she's so important for us.
"It's a shame we don't have a game next week. We want to keep playing!
"When you're playing well like we are you just want the games to keep coming!"
