Born in Gateshead, Keira's first football team was Cleveland Hall before joining Sunderland RTC at 7 years old where she would stay for nine years.
After leaving the RTC at 16, Keira joined Newcastle United Women. After gaining experience in the first six months, she became a regular starter for the team, one that finished second in Tier 4 during the 2021/22 season.
In Newcastle's promotion season in 2022/23, Keira played every minute in the league, playing an imperative role and ultimately winning the league, gaining promotion to Tier 3 as part of a back line that conceded just 18 goals all season.
After receiving her first professional footballing contract for the 2023/24 season Keira suffered a ruptured ACL, an injury that would see her on the sideline for most of last season.
