Highly rated centre-back Harley Hunt has joined Boro after breaking through the Swindon Town Academy.

Last season Harley helped guide Swindon Town’s Under-18s to the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals, knocking out Manchester United and Sunderland along the way.

In the same campaign, the youngster made his League Two debut when he came on as a substitute in a 2-1 defeat to Walsall.

The talented defender would go onto make two further appearances for Mark Kennedy’s side against Grimsby Town and Morecambe.

Harley was the subject of interest from a number of clubs in the Premier League and Championship, and is now looking forward to the future as a Boro player.
